The first photograph is witness to age old slate stone roofing prevalent extensively in the Himalayan region, with the horizon unfolding along the roofs centroid, while clouds engulf the overcast.
Second photograph reveals opposite end of the roof of the same structure with G.I. corrugated sheet as top of building envelope.
